On behalf of the Steering Committee, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 7th International Conference Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ICTVET 2020).This 7th ICTVET 2020 is organized by the Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Padang. The main objective of this conference is to provide a platform for academics, researchers, professionals practitioners, observers, teachers and students to present their current research in Engineering Education and Technical and Vocational Education and Training. In addition, it also aims to discuss strategic issues in related fields. The theme of the conference is “Vocational Education and Technology in Millennium Era”. All Papers Presented in ICTVET 2020 will be reviewed and selected for publication in a journal indexed by Scopus.

Professor of Technological Sciences / Electrical technology and engineering Prof. Ganefri, M.Pd, Ph, D Born in the city of Payakumbuh, West Sumatra Province, December 17, 1963. He was inaugurated as UNP Rector on July 20 2016. Previously Prof. Ganefri serves as Chairman of Kopertis Region X and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering (FT) Padang State University. Graduated with a Bachelor of Electrical Education from IKIP Padang (1988), he continued his Postgraduate Study of Technical and Vocational Education at IKIP Yogyakarta (1996) and earned a Doctorate in Vocational Technical Education at UKM Malaysia (2011)

Dr. Chris Zirkle is an Associate Professor in Workforce Development and Education within the College of Education and Human Ecology at The Ohio State University, where he currently teaches courses in career and technical education and human resource development. Dr. Zirkle has taught in a variety of positions at the middle school, high school, community college and university level. He also has experience as a building administrator at the high school level. He holds current Ohio teaching and administrative licenses in nine different fields.
